Funky Buddha works with Pints for Prostates to “Crown for a Cure”

Funky Buddha is partnering with Pints for Prostates this September to raise awareness for men’s health and prostate cancer!

One of the fastest growing breweries in South Florida, Funky Buddha brewery will join over 40 other craft breweries across the country in bottling their beer with blue and yellow “Crowns for a Cure” caps. The crowns feature the Pints for Prostates logo on the outside and under the cap is the message, “Reaching men through the universal language of beer.” Approximately 3,000 cases of Floridian, Hop Gun, and Pineapple Beach six-packs were produced with these caps and will hit distribution next month in order to raise awareness among men about the importance of regular health screenings and early detection.

Crowns for a Cure is a program started in 2015 by Rick Lyke, a prostate cancer survivor who started the organization after successful treatment for the disease. Funky Buddha has been a proud sponsor of the Pints for Prostates Denver Rare Beer Festival for the past three years, which coincides with the first Friday of the Great American Beer Festival each year in Denver, Colorado.

Help bring awareness to prostate cancer screenings and their importance in men’s health by talking about them with friends and family over a craft beer from Funky Buddha!
