Burial Beer Burnpile Harvest Fest Slated for October 14

ASHEVILLE, NC August 14th, 2017 — Burnpile Harvest Fest is officially slated for Saturday, October 14th from 12pm-8pm at Burial Beer Co.’s South Slope taproom on 40 Collier Ave. Now in its forth year, Burnpile celebrates the harvest season with live music and seasonally inspired beers from 40+ breweries from around the country.

“Harvest Fest originated in Seattle, Washington for us. It was a gathering of our closest friends who would come over and bring food and harvest beers while Doug and Tim would homebrew. It was this incredible celebration of the season that accompanied a lot of colors and smells and visuals,” explains Jess Reiser, Co-Founder of Burial. “When we moved here we wanted to bring that tradition to Burial so we could celebrate our new community that we had quickly grown close to. The goal was not just to showcase our beers but also the beers of our friends from other breweries, and our patrons as well.”

As the brewery has grown, so has the list of attending breweries. This year’s event will feature over 40 regional and national breweries. The currently confirmed brewery list is as follows:

Founded in June 2013, Burial Beer Co. crafts Belgian-inspired ales, and bold American styles with a dedication to creativity, tradition, modernization, and preservation. Residing in and revitalizing the South Slope District of Asheville, NC, the brewery began its life as a one-barrel system that grew to a ten-barrel in just over a year. Fall 2016 brought a new wave of expansion and revitalization as Burial Beer Co. expanded again to a second location, the “Forestry Camp.” This location is home to a twenty-barrel production brewery and soon to be locally purveyed restaurant and two-story craft beer bar in South Asheville. The Brewery currently distributes to North Carolina, Georgia, and New York.
